What We Offer

Open plan kitchen-diner with a hand built painted kitchen, modern oven and microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer and a comfortable dining table for 4 to sit and chat.

A large sitting room with french doors opening onto the beautiful walled garden, smart TV, two large sofas to curl up on, good books, board games and a log burning stove for cosy evenings.

Outside, a south and west facing sunny terrace with wicker sofas and dining table, and a BBQ for those balmy evenings.

Both bedrooms are large and spacious. The beautiful Chinese wallpaper bedroom has a King size bed with crisp white bed-linen, smart TV and views overlooking the large and secluded garden. The luxury en-suite bathroom has a heated towel rail, a large walk-in rain shower and console basin.

The elegant Paisley wallpaper bedroom has a Super King bed (can be arranged as two singles), smart TV, comfortable window seat and views overlooking the Market Square (and watch racehorses ride past each day from the nearby stables). The luxury en-suite has a heated towel rail, a double-ended bath with rain shower over bath and console basin.

The Carriage House has everything you need for a luxurious and comfortable stay with Bluetooth digital sound system, Smart TVs, fast Wifi, modern oil heating system, wood burning stove, microwave, washer/dryer, iron and board, dressing gowns, hairdryers, towels, linen and logs provided.

There is off-street private parking for two cars.

If you can bring yourself to leave The Carriage House and its walled garden there’s miles of gorgeous walks right from the door.

There are a number of pubs and restaurants, a convenience store and cafes all within a minute or two walk from the cottage.
